Talk: MIDI 2.0 in JUCE

New MIDI 2.0 features, such as querying device metadata, and sending and receiving high-resolution messages, are now available in JUCE. We'll give an overview of how these features work, and show how you can use the new JUCE APIs to extend the functionality of your software. For more details, see our announcement at forum.juce.com/t/midi-2-0-preview-branch/66453.

Talk: Neural Audio with Neutone SDK

Neural audio processing has unlocked novel methods of sound transformation and synthesis, yet integrating deep learning models into digital audio workstations remains challenging due to real-time inference constraints and the complexities of plugin development.

In this talk, Christopher will provide an overview of neural approaches for audio effect emulation and timbre transfer, as well as introduce the Neutone SDK and its free accompanying plugins that streamline the deployment of PyTorch-based neural audio models for both real-time and offline applications. I'll also briefly discuss some of the challenges involved in building neural audio plugins and provide examples of their use in performances and creative applications.
